The Standardized Patient Program (SPP) at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine is mandated to support simulation services in support of teaching and assessment for the MD Program, Medical Education, its hospital partners, other Faculties at the University of Toronto, as well as community-based programs, and researchers.
External Clients
External organizations may request Standardized Patients for projects that serve educational purposes only—such as the creation of educational videos for continuing professional development, staff or physician training, and similar initiatives.
Each request is reviewed by the SPP intake team on a case-by-case basis to determine the appropriateness and feasibility of SP involvement.
